Dialogue Partner - Ky

My Dialogue Partner was a girl from Vietnam, named Quynh Nga Nguyen Bao. However, everybody just calls her Ky. We began communicating right away through a series of e-mails. In these e-mails we talked about each other and how we were going to put this project together. I gave her two different Hawaiian legends to read while I read a well known story from Vietnam, titled The Tale of Kieu. We realized that discussing the literature over e-mails would be slightly ineffective and very time consumming. So, we each set up a yahoo account and had a couple of different online chats. That was somewhat difficult to organize due to the eleven hour time difference, but it worked out in the end. Anyway, that was a brief explanation of my experience. You can probably learn a lot more from the emails and online chats that are posted. It ended up being a fun, new, worthwhile experience.
